3 Ways to Get Links From .EDU And .GOV Sites
Yo there! If you are new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed, or through email, for more tips on better and effective blogging!
I was very sick yesterday and today, so you didn’t see any new posts on this otherwise regularly updated blog. Any ways, here’s a post for you!
Getting backlinks from .edu and .gov sites is on top of every blogger’s to-do list. These links have a very high value and every blogger wants to gather such links. Here are some tips on getting them:
Build The Site for Them
Offer to build their website for them. Mostly, educational and government institutions don’t want to get into the technicalities of website creation. They want it built, and they will hire you. You can even charge them, and don’t forget to include a link to your blog! Some work, but it’s worth it.
Donate Articles
This is probably the easiest method you can get backlinks from these sites. First, find a .edu or .gov website which is similar to your blog, in terms of the content and niche. Many such sites have a content section where they publish content. Send them an e-mail requesting permission to publish one of your articles.
If you get permission, you’re in luck. Send, or donate them your best(and related) article, with a link to your blog. Simple as that!
Hack the Site
No need to explain this one I guess!

I got one .edu link by the second method. It works sometimes
one easy way to do this is to offer to create your schools site and then the rest is history…
