5+1 Quick-Fix Post Ideas To Get Your Blank Mind Rolling
Today’s a Sunday, and to pass the time, here’s a little quick fix post. Enjoy!
We’ve all had times when it seems we’ve covered everything about a topic, and don’t know what to write about. For those times, here are 6 post ideas to get your mind rolling!
- Write a list post – Lists posts (Top 10, etc) can be conjured up quickly, and often without much effort on your part
- Do an interview – Pick a blogger, schedule a time, and do an interview!
- Write a tutorial – Know something really well? Why not write a tutorial about it?
- Answer reader questions – Do you get quite a lot of questions from your readers? Why not dedicate a post to answering those questions?
- Do a review of a service – An affiliate? Why not write a value packed review of the service (with your affiliate link in it, of course!
)?
- Write a links list – It doesn’t matter to sometimes link out to good (relevant) content you find on the internet. For inspiration, take a look at my Thursday Links Roundup
Any ideas you would add to this list?

Nice quick post and these are really the type of posts that get good attention. If you see, many top-10-list posts get a good number of votes on social media sites.
As for interviews, I would add that try to get your hands on a blogger that is a bit famous and whose blog seems to get visits and/or has a higher pagerank. Why? Because most probably, the blogger will mention the interview to his friends (social circle) and may also link back to the interview from his site, which will give you a long-lasting valuable link.
As for the review, I think a better idea would be to review a number of similar products in one post. For example, you can just pick up all the famous blogging platforms like WP, Blogger, Typepad, etc. and then review and COMPARE them. The comparison is the main thing here. People love comparisons. If I want to start a new blog, I would love to first know which platforms offer what and what not. So that type of comparison is really useful and your visitors will like them and may even subscribe to your blog for future similar posts if the comparison is good.
very nice post, helpful, short and to the point
