Ah, guest blogging. While some may seem it’s like giving your best content away, I believe in the exact opposite. Guest blogging is one of the strongest ways one can build up a loyal following, besides getting appreciation from other bloggers.

Before I go on, I would like to explain to you what exactly guest blogging is:

A guest blogger is a blogger who volunteers to write articles for other blogs, and can their author box in the article also. Usually, the guest blogger loses their rights to their post after having it published on another blog.

The above was what I understood about guest blogging(If someone has a better definition, please leave a comment). Don’t get worried about the ‘losing rights’ part. It just is that way.

Guest blogging allows you to network with other bloggers and their readers. For example, my guest post(Cricket - and Blogging?) drew quite a few responses from that blog’s readers. I also got some visitors from that blog, because of the post. It also establishes you as a trusted and knowledgeable blogger, who knows what he blogs.
