Perseverance And Patience Make a Good Blogger
Yo there! If you are new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed, or through email, for more tips on better and effective blogging!
Once upon a time, there was a CEO of a multinational company. But, he didn’t get to be CEO there and then. He used to be a lowly clerk in the same company, working for others.
After years of working hard as a clerk and pleasing his bosses, he climbed up the career ladder and got promoted to a higher job. Working hard for several years again in that job, he got promoted again to an even higher post. This whole hard-work and promotion process continued on for years, until he finally became CEO of the company.
Had he, in his years as a clerk, considered the option of quitting his job for more lucrative ones, ever become the top gun of the company? No, right?
So, what was the driving force that kept that man determined and so firmly focused? The answer is simple: he was patient and he persevered.
The above story seem familiar to you? This is what this post is all about.

I think we are all in agreement here that had not that man persevered, he would not have succeeded. It’s exactly the same with blogging. You start small, work hard, persevere and then slowly but surely you rise up the ladder.
Even the greats in blogging had to start small, did not they? Even the greats were at a time unknown in the blogging world (when they started their venture). When you read the story of some of the giants in the blogging business, such as Darren, you see that they all took several years to reach the position in which they are now. They faced all difficulties with determination and refused to stop, and are now eating the fruits of their persistence.
The key here is to never lose hope. Whatever may happen, do not lose hope. Your readership may stand at 5 even after months of blogging, or your comment numbers 0, but you still should not lose hope. Success may take some time to arrive, but be assured that it will come!
I agree it can be discouraging to see no one appreciating or reading your hard work on your blog. But why think in the short term? What about the more profitable long term? Isn’t the long term
Reflect on what I’ve said. And if you have anything to say about this, please do leave a comment.
