Yo there! If you are new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed, or through email, for more tips on better and effective blogging!
It is so common in the real world that I fear it will not be uncommon in the blogosphere too.
Every great blogger(authoritative-ness wise) that we know of today started small, and wasn’t popular or known when he or she started out. They slowly climbed the ladder of success, rung by rung, till the top.
But one thing which you find in common in all of them is that they realize that they were in the beginning, nothing at all. They started out as humble trainee bloggers, and slowly rose to the top, where they stand now currently.
I know, as you become more successful as a blogger, your interests and activities change. Once, you were keen to leave comments on other blogs to get traffic. Now, you don’t give a damn; your blog has enough traffic already. Once, you used to guest blog religiously. Now, you’ve almost forgotten what guest blogging means. You used to read other blogs too, now it’s all about you and your blog.
The above was just a possible worst case scenario. Reality could be wildly different.
that no matter how big and popular you become, don’t forget that you have humble origins. Don’t forget the importance of all those people who helped you along the way. All those bloggers who let you guest post on their blog. All those commentators who made your blog come alive. Even your family, who tolerated your habit with patience and even sacrificed their share of your time for your blogging. Don’t you think all those people deserve the best now? Think about it.
Remember, pride comes before a fall. It could be too late.

Unfortunately this happens far too often. Fortunately I cannot be accused of this as I am still very much a ‘humble trainee’. I hope some of the bloggers who should be reading this are indeed doing so.
@sailor: even I must admit I’m guilty of this to some extent. Trying to make up by this post!
Please do spread the word. People need to know about this!
