Saying Hello to 2008 On a Cleaner Note

2008 has arrived and there have been some changes to this blog’s design too. I decided to clean up the blog a little and make it more standards-compliant(Still finding bugs). The changes are not that major, just a logo re design(looks cool now, huh?) and some semantic changes.

I’ve tried my best to make this blog more SE optimized. For that reason, I’ve implemented a XML Sitemap on this blog, to enable more SE friendlines.

Also, I’ve tried to make the design cleaner and more usable. I’ve changed the colors of the links to the old traditional blue and purple. Also, I’ve taken off stuff such as that Chitika ad at the bottom of posts. I’ve cleaned up the header too by replacing the old logo with a more simpler one. Maybe I’ll put two 125×125 ads on either side of the logo.

You may also notice that the sidebar’s a little pushed towards the content, leaving an empty space towards the sidebar’s right. I aim to put some ads there too. Well I’ll do that when the time comes.

One major thing is that I’ve re-worked and redesigned the commenting system. The old one was so clunky and ugly… Try it out!

Well the above were the only big updates to this blog’s design. There were other small things too, like change in the colour of the headings.
