The Difference Between Modest and Shameless Self-Promotion? – Monday Questions #3
Folks, it’s time for the third Monday Question (first and second questions). Think through this one and answer! And oh, I’ll be making a dedicated page for the Monday Questions too
The question for this Monday could seem a little strange, and unusual, but I feel it is important to answer nonetheless:
We all are members of forums and communities, and one time or another, we see people drop by links to their blogs/websites.
Both established/reputable and newbie members do this. But then, where would you put the limit? I mean, how much self promotion is enough?

Too little self promotion can cause your blog to remain hidden from the rest of the world. While too much self-promotion could cause you and your blog to look spammy and thus hurt your reputation.
So, this can really be a dilemma. What’s your take on this?

Interesting question. I personally have the tendency to publicise my posts through social media but i don’t overdo it. Asking valuable suggestions and letting people know that i am done is all i do rather than asking people to bookmark my posts. Whenever i feel the need to promote my posts, i post the links in plurk which is the best out there, in my personal opinion.
