10 Things When Less is More and When More is Less
We’ve all read all around the web about ‘more-is-less’ and ‘less-is-more’ stuff. But did you really care about that stuff? I mean, most of us read blogs for the pleasure of it, only a few times actually acting upon the advice. Admit it! ![]()
Well I’m no different from you, so there’s something to be happy about! Anyways, I’ve been thinking since recently about the things(related to blogging, of course) which make it into the ‘more-is-less’ and ‘less-is-more’ lists. I’ve come up with ten things for each list.
Note: A thing or two might occur in both categories. Strange, but true!
More Is Less

- Money. Obviously!
- Spam. Hmmm.
- Ads.
- Readers. Of course!
- Blog Traffic.
- Comments on YOUR blog.
- Links FROM other blogs to your blog.
- Blogging fame and fortune. Why not?
- The number of bloggers agreeing to do anything for a blog-review by you. Suh-weet!
- Pagerank and Alexa Rank.
Less is More
Took me a lot of time to think up points for this one, (excluding the time spent to find this fantastic photo. Thanks Shermeee!)

- Spam. Again!
- Ads. Sometimes can be.
- Posting Frequency.
- The Evil of Google(The Center of All Web-Evil
). WTF? - Comments by you on OTHERS’ blogs. Right, eh?
- Links to OTHERS’ blogs from your blog.
- Feed subscriptions. How many can/will/should you read?
- Number of active blogs. How many can you handle?
- Money spent on advertising.
- Time spent browsing blogs other than yours.
Any more ideas??
